today's joke accurately describes MNHS...
An out-of-towner accidentally drives his car into a deep ditch on the side of a country road. Luckily, a farmer passed by with his big old horse named Benny. The man asked for help. The farmer said that Benny could pull his car out, so he backed the horse up and hitched it to the man's car bumper. Then he yelled, "Pull, Nellie, pull!" Benny didn't move. Then he yelled, "Come on, pull Ranger." Still, Benny didn't move. Then he yelled really loud, "Now pull, Fred, pull hard."Benny just stood. Then the farmer nonchalantly said, "Okay, Benny, pull."Benny pulled the car out of the ditch. The man was very appreciative but curious. He asked the farmer why he called his horse by the wrong name three times. The farmer said, "Oh, Benny is blind, and if he thought he was the only one pulling he wouldn't even try."
I rather enjoyed that myself and hope you did as well. Today was rather dumb. In fact, i officially christen today as "I am here, leave me alone and I will leave soon day." Gave out playing tests in orchestra today; I have to say, am slightly impressed with orchestra people, at least the first violins. It seems as if everyone knows their scale; granted it is the easiest scale to play, but i hadn't expected people to actually know what's going on, so it was a pleasant surprise. Everything else was a blur...bah. I resolved my NHS conflict today, and all i can say is that i think i will just bend over. Although one good thing today: Alumni Day. I got to see all the people that gradumacated last year, it was nice. Pretty much took the evening off, and hung out with some peeps. Dont really feel like tellin much else, so i'll just leave things to your imaginations. If i dont blog tomorrow, i hope everyone enjoys their thanksgiving break and remember to play safe. Rock out.
