I guess there is something to be said about living 3min from work -- I took a lunch break to come home and meet the Direct TV tech, and he hooked my apartment up with some serious high-def. I almost didn't go back to work. almost.

so really, finally:

1. bought a TV (Samsung LCD -- woohoo)
2. set up Direct TV
3. HD-DVR (Hello food network)

to do:

1. PS3 / 360
2. Blu-ray Planet Earth
3. Spam-DVR food network / history / discovery / travel channel
4. Unbeatable Banzuke

In other news, Avenue Q was indeed as entertaining as advertised; I recommend it, though it does strike a rather catholic range of humour, so be ready to take in a good load (yep. I went there.)
