And now...a joke related to winter...
Once upon a time, there was a rebellious sparrow who decided not to fly south for the winter.
However, the weather became so cold that he reluctantly started to fly south. In a short time, ice began to form on his wings and he fell to earth in a barnyard, almost frozen. A cow passed by and crapped on the little sparrow. The sparrow thought it was the end, but the manure warmed him up and defrosted his wings. Warm, happy, and able to breathe, he started to sing. Just then a large cat came by and, hearing the chirping, investigated the sounds. The cat cleared away the manure, found the chirping bird and promptly ate him. The moral of the story:
1. Everyone who craps on you is not necessarily your enemy.
2. Everyone who gets you out of the crap is not necessarily your friend.
3. If you're warm and happy in a pile of crap, keep your mouth shut.
...So since i didn't blog yesterday, Merry Christmas to everyone and anyone that believes it! I hope you all gave as much as you received :) The whole gift giving thing isn't too big at our household, we dont really spend too much money; it's more a symbol than anything else...I got two shirts and some money. practical. Spent the day lounging about, enjoying the fact i dont have to do anything right now. I must say though, i've gotten at least 9 hours of sleep every day, that totally kicks ass...i suppose i'm just making up for all the lost sleep during 1st semester. 2nd semester will be annoying, but i dont think it'll be too bad compared to my past schedules; i will have 3rd hour off (i know, completely worthless but that's how the scheduling turned out) so if any of y'all have 3rd off, we'll figure out something to do. Probably some way to annoy administration, one way or the other. (i.e. Playing frisbee during 6th hour in front of the admin office, by the flag pole for 30mins b4 security asked us to stop. good times) Well, if any of you kiddies out there have a good plan of some sort, lemme know cuz i'm free every day ^_^ (hooray for not working at AMC) anyhow, i'm gonna go find something to do now. ciao.
a few sprinkles of genius with a chance of doom.
