Fall formal die.
It's finally friday, but there's definitely no rest for the weary; this formal without a budget thing has really been total bullshit to me. Between having to call multiple places just to find a pricing and arrange a date that'll work (having to dodge other parties, and sorority initiations and persona conflicts of graduating members), arranging transportation, dealing with particular liquor license insurance policies, I finally find a time and place everyone can attend. NOPE. it's too damned expensive, so I call around and find a cheaper choice? NOPE still too expensive. Alright alright, we'll hold a frickin' ghetto formal at the house, that's fine with me...Let's get catering, people said; I come up with a cost, still too expensive... "I could do better with $70" people said, what the hell? You want a damn formal or not? Alright alright, I can compromise, lets get another catering place that's a lil cheaper, okay people seem to like the idea, start signing over? only 21 sign over. WTF? Fine, i'll talk to our steward and see if our Chef O would be willing to cook an extra nice meal for us, and this fuckin' formal just turned into Pledge Night Part II! Fine, let's do that? oh no wait, because people were so late in signing over, the catering place already ordered the food, now we're gonna be slammed with a 25% fee if we cancel. WHAT THE HELL? Oh yea, I still get to go to papermart and buy supplies for tomorrow, and somehow find emily becker a date. And wake up tomorrow to clean the mess that beers around the world tonight is going to generate. lame. Haha, ohyea, then there's this thing called class and schoolwork....blargh! So help me God.

Hey, sounds like you could use some encouragement. Hang in there, it'll be over after tomorrow, enjoy it for the good moments and forget about the bad ones. (Although easier said than done!) *hug*
