Well, it's been quite the eventful weekend...beers around the world friday night turned out quite well, it was exactly what I needed, just a night to relax and not have to do anything. I started the evening off with a Sopporo lager from Japan, then moved onto Sam Adams from good ol' USA, after that, I traveled to Hawaii for some jug wine and pina coladas. Immediately followed was carbombs in Israel (politically correct? no. delicious? yes), then I hit up some Turkish liquor in Hakan's room. Ghetto Mimosa's in Munoz's room was when I started entering the dangerzone, lol...Then I spent some time in Canada with Molson's (which really isn't that great, but decent when it comes to relatively cheap beer) and double fisted that with one of my personal favorites, Corona from Mexico :-D Planning the formal was as much work as I anticipated, from cleaning everything up from beers around the world, to going to papermart to pick up table clothes and streamers. That took pretty much all afternoon, and in between I had to run to the waterfront to buy a shirt and a tie. However, between small hiccups, the formal turned out quite well; everyone i've spoken to seem to have had a good time...although, we had a bunch of DGs just kinda show up so that was good (although, it caused a few individuals to not have steak...i ended up just not eating anyhoo) It was slightly awkward for the girls that were here that were not DGs when the DGs all got up and took a group photo, lol. The pledges that showed up to waiter the table are basically the usual responsible ones, and they did a GREAT job. After the formal, we drank in Shulman's room for a while, and got ready for the lingerie party. That party was insane! There was a $6 cover which was kinda lame, but they had a lot of booze, and definitely excellent food; the crowd their kind reminded me of highschool parties though; all the "popular" "attractive" people were invited, and it just seemed a lil too superficial for me. That and I was pretty tired from running about all day and had not eaten anything, I kinda just relaxed by the food table :D and didn't care enough to mingle so I just hung out with the people I knew. I left around 130 with Emily's friend Elise, and came back and just relaxed. Celia, who just initiated kappa friday night, came over with britt and we just hung out in my room. Sunday was church followed by videogames and hw as usual. I was gonna go to the tridelt crush party, but then got too lazy and didn't feel like drinking...
